The Item Upgrader in World of Warcraft
The War Within introduced Valorstones, and Harbinger Crests as two currencies to upgrade gear. These currencies can be exchanged at the item upgrader NPCs, Cuzolth and Vaskarn.
Each item can be upgraded to its maximum level for a given slot once. Upgrades to that slot will be cheaper afterward. The pity system, introduced with The War Within, also reduces the extreme variance in upgrades.
Upgrades
Upgrades are components that improve performance or add new functionality. Upgrades can be purchased or earned in many ways, such as through events in the game or cash shop items.
Unlike enchantments, which can be incorporated into any item, upgrades are tied to specific items and are only applied to the items. As such, an upgrade can only be applied to a weapon until it already has been equipped by a player. Certain items can be upgraded more than once, providing a greater benefit to the player.
Upgrades are a fairly new mechanic introduced in patch 4.1.0. The upgrade system allows players to add additional enhancements to equipment to increase its power, ranging from simple boosts in strength to major damage and defense boosts. Upgrades are grouped into tracks and each track has its own limit on how high an item can be upgraded. The limits are in place to prevent players from spamming low-keystone dungeons in search of equipment, only to upgrade it to the top.
Consumables, weapons, and armor are all upgradeable. Most gear can be upgraded as it drops however, a few items (such as Ornn's gear or the baby Dracolich pet) cannot be upgraded. The gear can be upgraded by purchasing an upgrade recipe from the vendor and then combining it with the item that is in the appropriate upgrade slot. A player can see the amount of upgrades a piece of equipment can be upgraded by looking at its inventory icon, or by searching for that item in the shop.
There are two major drawbacks with the upgrade system. It can be difficult to determine what items are eligible for upgrade since upgrade vendors don't always show all of them. The upgrade textures are created over the model which can hide enchantment details and other details.
Another disadvantage is that upgrades are costly. Every step in a gear's degree of upgrade will cost a certain amount of Valorstones, or crests, based on the slot and level. Weapons generally require more crests and Valorstones to upgrade than gloves or bracers for instance. There are, however, a few items in the cash shop that can help lower the cost of upgrading.
Recycle
In the wake of growing awareness of how single-use products and wasteful habits contribute to environmental degradation, many people are changing their shopping habits. Many people purchase high-quality products that will last longer, or recycle their old gadgets in search of a solution. Others are focusing on recycled products and looking for the most recycled content in their purchases. This should help cut down the amount resources required to produce and extract new materials and create an environmentally sustainable world.
Recycling is a vital element of this process and it has become more accessible to consumers. Many items, including paper and furniture have a recycled component to them. These items are made from re-used or discarded materials. You can purchase them at a retail store or online. In addition to preserving the environment, these products are often cheaper than comparable products.
When an item is leveled it will be rewarded with additional bonuses in addition to its higher stat. The bonuses are based on the item's tier and can be of different types. The higher the tier, the greater bonuses you will receive.
As the global economy shifts away from extraction of resources to reusing and recycling more companies are committing to produce greener products. Many of them are focusing on using recycled materials and are offering incentives to customers to recycle their items. As the demand for sustainable products grows, we will likely see more recycled products in shops and on the shelves.
Rerolls
In Genshin Impact - or any gacha game for that matter - rerolling is an essential tool. It allows players to try their chances at getting a particular weapon or character they want to have for aesthetic reasons or because they feel that it will fit on their team.
Rerolls function by allowing players to reroll the items available in the current wave for a small amount of materials. The prices of these weapons rise when the number of rerolls within a row increases, though some items may not be available in any way (for example weapons that are melee is not available to players who are only able to use weapons with a range).
When an item levels up it is able to enter the Staple Pool where it gains additional bonuses. They are based on the type of item that it is. For instance, an upgrade that boosts the weapon's primary stat can also boost its secondary stats. The extras will also change if the item rerolled.
When a player has the stamina for a reroll, they can press an icon with arrows that are circling to swap their item out to a different. The new item is of the same level of play, but different bonuses depending on whether it was the sword, book, or watch.
Rerolling does not reset an item's current bonus levels, but players may be required to meet the minimum requirements for stats to qualify for the special ability. This can make it challenging to get an item of high-level that offers the bonus they desire but it also allows players to look for a different alternative in the future, without having to invest more resources.
The item will receive an tier bonus, which will guarantee that it will get an amount of statistics in the future. It is crucial to only upgrade your gear as much as you can, since additional upgrades won't make a difference.

Sets
A set is a collection of items connected by some property. They are often used in mathematics and can be represented by . Sets possess a variety of important properties such as the commutative and associative properties. These properties aid us comprehend how sets function and also have practical applications.
The items in a set can be upgraded to get additional bonuses in the game. A set of armor pieces can boost the armor's defense and a weapon could add additional damage base. These additional stats are applied following the base stats of the item, and prior to the percentages and flats. These additional stats are an excellent way to increase value.
When an item is upgraded, it will replace the base stat with the upgraded one. For instance, an item that had 20 base damage now has 40 base damage. The base armor and upgrade requirements will remain. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase an elite item at a low cost.
Upgrades to unusual items can be profitable, especially when the item comes with an interesting mod. For instance, a rare belt with a +5 IAS could have a huge impact on the strength of a build, especially early hell. It's an excellent way to increase the value of an item by incorporating an ideal or high-roll.
Item Upgraders operate differently for unique, set and rare items. When an item reaches level 10, it is likely to be upgraded back to its base type. An upgrade of a unique armor item with max defense will result in a similar base type for an elite armor item. This is not a guaranteed outcome, and there are instances where an upgrade will not alter the basic type of item.
It is suggested that players focus on upgrading their BiS (Best in Slot) items first, then non-BiS items. This will give the player an established base to build on when they are leveling up. They can then concentrate on increasing tiers and gaining additional stats.
